Your articleProbe Finds Marines Killed Unarmed Iraqi Civilians – Los Angeles Times states in part "The report concludes that a dozen Marines acted improperly after a roadside bomb explosion killed a fellow Marine, Lance Cpl. Miguel Terrazas.
The article fails to highlight the extreme difficulties that our troops have in distinguishing between the good guys and the bad guys in this war. Neither does the article attempt to find any mitigating factors for the anguish and horror these troops experienced in seeing one of their own comrades killed in a roadside explosion just moments before. Instead you focus on the bad deeds committed by these American Marines while fighting the war.
No mention is made of the wanton and brutal slayings of innocent Iraqis by the insurgents themselves.
One can only hope that all charges will be dropped or that these Marines will get off
