In my opinion we should be fully supporting Israel in its military operations, as our staunch ally, without any strings attached to when or how they use the weapons that we provide.
Any "secret agreements" should be eliminated in our military dealings with Israel. This particular inquiry is being made by the State Department into the use by Israel of U.S. furnished "cluster bombs", and is part of our jaded and hypocritical international posture with a good ally and friend;by the way which was being targeted by Hezbollah rockets containing deadly wide scattering ball bearings that were made for maximum civilian casualties.
The last thing we need to do is let the State Department in the tent. I hope that this matter will be put to rest immediately.
